now i'm staring at the moon.

i told you everyday:
[musik: Gareth Gates - Too Serious Too Soon]

hi. it is in my utmost realisation that i'm picking songs to listen to from my playlist, that will induce a state of moping about issues that are non-platonic. but my head is telling me that i will not be brought down with depression because i've so much more out there that really matters. like rah, my closest thing to a best friend. and wee, my dear, darling twin. and mel, the one person i always 'connect' with despite being so distant from. and alethea! sweetheart, i miss you, come back from bali soon. and qing, that moron. and pfp too, another moron. she and qing should get together sometime, heh. and drama, which i should so stop resenting because i do like it, 'cept when it clashes withhhhhh... animation! beautiful thing that really matters.

haha! right now, i'm listening to duff's last christmas. it is soooo making me feel much better. i'm telling all you head-shaking, rock-loving punks out there. girl pop and chick music just works to make you feel whole again. these girls can probably sing cancer to death with their honey-dripping voices and cuddly lyrics. seriously. it's just like chick flicks. mushy movies. you know, the works. brazilian wax and all. no, no, i'm joking on that.

by the way, i classify john mayer as under 'chick music' because he just soothes my soul. (:
your skin like porcelain
one pair of candy lips and
your bubblegum tongue
like hello! no one describes it any lovelier.

okay, i'm so drifting from where i was in the first place. the whole point of this post was to be grateful for all the lovely things that i am bestowed with. and to think of all the great, wonderful, fantastic people in my life. not just friends. even the little strangers who just say something that makes you smile. or the little gestures the trainers do that makes you feel appreciated. you know? i should be really really really really grateful. i'm lucky. i've got quite a life going. i mean, not everyone has what i have. they may be lucky in a different way, may be better off or with a real family, but not everyone's lucky in the way they want to be - like just because you can do sports doesn't mean you love it, you know? but for me, i can draw decently, and i love it. i can write, and i love reading. i can act and i love theatre. you know? not being big-headed or anything, i'm just saying. like, i have a small but fantastic group of friends, and i love them. i don't need a big crowd of friends, i don't need to constantly have someone beside me to assure me that i have friends. because i know i have them. i know they're there for me, and i love it.

wow. hah, i think it's the songs that i'm listening to that's making me proclaim all this. you could classify as rubbish, and if i read it now, i'd be like 'what a load of bull' but i know it's true.

suddenly, everything's all cheery. i'm listening to 'story of a girl' now, and i'm thinking about @. i feel kinda sorry for her suddenly, you know? she's missing out on everything, out on the awesome things in life. all she has going for her is, well, nothing much really. she can't even count her friends into the picture because all of them are just bitching/backstabbing about each other to some one else! ha, it's pathetic.

i'm experiencing the world here, even if i'm only in a tiny little part of the earth. i'm experiencing the best friends anyone could ask for, no matter how much i get annoyed sometimes, i love them. i'm experiencing arts everyday - drawing, animation, sculpting, clay, painting... i'm experiencing people of all walks of life - strangers, teachers, trainers, adults, other teens - and i'm experiencing so much more than @ would, ever.

okay, i should stop gushing about how fantastic life is and get back to reality...

sobs, life sucks, sobs.
